At least six minor league batters made the trip to Orlando today for the Astros Spring Training Opener.
T.J. Steele went 2 for 2 after hyper-extending his elbow diving for a fly ball.
J.B. Shuck was 1 for 1.
Drew Locke was 0 for 2.
Jio Mier, Jimmy Paredes and Jonathan Meyer were 0 for 1. I hadn't seen Meyer on the mini-camp roster and was surprised that he was already in Florida.
